• Potential contributors may submit to ONE category at this time. 

• When submitting a contribution, please save the file as LAST NAME_GENRE. Example: JONES_POETRY.

• Please submit a cover letter with a third-person bio (approximately 150 words) that states your connection to the Appalachian region. The cover letter should contain your contact information: email address and phone number.

• Previously published work/reprints are not accepted. 

• Simultaneous submissions are welcome, but please send us an email right away if your work is accepted elsewhere. 

• The Mountain Movement reserves first publication rights; upon publication all rights revert back to the contributor.
